Naming Ceremonies
A naming ceremony is a fantastic way to be introduced to your friends, family and the world (if you’re a beautiful new baby!). It may present as an alternative to a christening, alongside a special birthday, an adoption or a rite of passage and is a wonderful way to personalise the message of love.
A naming day ceremony can also be a wonderful and deeply personal affirming event and occasion following a gender transition, often created to mark the adoption of a new name that aligns with someone's true gender identity.

Vibe Check Via Zoom
Do you want to decide if I'm the right celebrant for you? No worries. Before you make any commitment, we will catch up over Zoom and you can ask me all the questions you like, and we can check that I fit your vibe. This is followed by unlimited contact leading to your bigday!
Naming Day Questionnaire
This is the fun and exciting bit! I'll send a questionnaire that tells me everything about you or your child. I invite you to tell me any funny stories and heart-warming tales about your journey as a family, and how you have chosen your name.
Writing of Your Personalised Ceremony
Using all the information from our meetings and your questionnaires I will create a ceremony that not only you will remember forever, but your guests will too! You will be able to edit your wedding script in communication with me. It won't be signed off until you are 100% happy that I have captured your love story, the way you want.
Conducting Your Ceremony
Your unique story is shared with your friends and family, as we celebrate yours or your child’s big day. I will arrive nice and early to help with anything you may need, and make sure everything is just right before we start your ceremony.You'll receive a ceremony certificate (if you wish to) and if you choose to include this in your ceremony, you can have photographs of the certificate signing with your chosen witnesses.
